Mohammed Ibn Abass
The Member of Parliament for Bimbilla has appealed to the factions in the conflict there to engage in dialogue to resolve their differences.

Mohammed Abass Ibn says even though calm has returned to the town following the imposition of a curfew, real peace will only be achieved if the protracted chieftaincy dispute in the area is resolved.

Mr. Abass Ibn, who just returned to Accra after visiting his constituency, told JOYNEWS that the real peace could only return to the town if the factions continue talking.

“ What I see is that the problem is administration. That is not say that there absolute peace. It is calm. I’m only hoping that as the days go by the security situation will get normal. Indeed what I gather from all the people I spoke to was that what was happening was because of existing chieftaincy dispute,” he said.
