The NDC government is gradually on course in bridging the yawning development gap between Southern and Northern Ghana, as massive development projects are largely being implemented to improve the living conditions of people in the area.
In this regard, more agric roads in the North had therefore been attended to by government to enhance the road networks linking the farming communities to enable farmers transport their produce to the urban centres to market them.
District Chief Executive for the Tolon District Assembly, Iddi Manzah Mahama in a latest interaction with Ghanadistricts.com disclosed that the 10km Nyankpala-Tali highway is currently under construction to ease transportation on the road.
He said contractors are on site and working tirelessly to ensure that works on this road is completed within the scheduled period.
He claimed that all things being equal, the project is expected to be accomplished by the end of the year, with the Assembly offering the necessary support to push the early completion of the project on-board.
Mr Manzah reiterated that the project also forms part of measures to make the “Better Ghana” agenda a reality in the district.
