In the bid to give education a facelift in the area, the Talensi Nabdam District Assembly has this year managed to build Kongo Senior High School a boy’s dormitory block facility.
This will considerably assist in easing accommodation challenges for students of the school and also help give them an enhanced environment for studies.
The issue of adequate boarding facilities is undoubtedly one of the major difficulties of second cycle institutions in the system especially in the deprived settings, but District Chief Executive, Madame Vivian Anafo in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com has intimated the Assembly is on its toes to join forces with other development partners to secure such facilities for schools that need it urgently at the district.
She disclosed that the facility has duly been completed and handed over to the school authorities to enable them undertake the necessary moves for its usage.
However, the facility was powered through the effort of the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETfund).
