207 laptops delivered to schools

All the 207 laptop computers procured this year by the Sissala East District Assembly to improve the skills of pupils in Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) training in basic schools under the district has duly been delivered across board.

A number of basic schools in certain communities like Kong, Sakai, Fallahia, and Nankpawie amongst others were all selected to receive the facility in the area.


This forms part of government’s basic school computerization project being implemented in partnership with rlg Communications Ltd to push through the e-school policy under the Ministry of Education.

The project seeks to enhance and facilitate the teaching and learning of ICT at the basic education level in the system.
