Assembly constructs drain for Jahan College

The Wa Municipal Assembly is committing attention to enhance drains in certain educational institutions in the Wa township. This is to ensure that the multi faceted government’s “Better Ghana” agenda, implemented to improve the lots of Ghanaians in the municipality touches on all areas required for national development.

As a result of this, the Assembly has lately constructed a trapezoidal drain at the Jahan College at Wa to guarantee safety in the event of any heavy downpour in the area.


The Assembly in a project document made available to Ghanadistricts.com cited a total amount of GHS 15,785.00 as the cost expended on the project.

In a related development, the SDA Junior High School located in Wa have also been supported with the construction of a drain that will assist the school lessen the bad effects of rainstorm, especially when the rains set in this year .
