The Gushiegu District Assembly is increasingly making significant efforts to fulfill government’s pledge made to Ghanaians regarding education, as it has collaborated with the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFUND) to undertake the building of some classroom structures in the district.

As a result of this, three communities in the district have duly benefited from the construction of 6-unit classroom block facilities each to boost teaching and learning in these areas.

This was highlighted in an interaction with Ghanadistricts.com by the District Chief Executive for the area, Fuseini Alhassan to discuss the infrastructural projects secured in education this year.

The beneficiary communities are Bulugu, Gunlanyili and Maazugun.

Mr. Alhassan said the projects secured will relatively assist in promoting quality education in these areas and the entire district.
