Basic schools receive 1,000 dual desks

Government is not reneging on its promises to commit resources in improving the quality of education in the system, as a total of 1,000 dual desks have been distributed to various schools in the Yendi Municipality.

Schools numbering 50 in the area have benefited from the exercise to give the leverage for an efficient teaching and learning in these schools.


Some of the areas that benefited from the exercise include Kpachaa, Kpalkore and Navili amongst others.

Speaking to Ghanadistricts.com on the development, the District Chief Executive for the area, Issah Zakaria said that the move will go a long way to influence the academic laurels of pupils in the area.

He therefore maintained that the Assembly will endeavour to promote quality education through the provision of numerous projects to the sector.
