Assembly acquires tipper truck

In order to devise more ways of generating revenue for the district, the Gushiegu District Assembly has invested a sum of GHS 248,000 in the purchase of a tipper truck.

The vehicle obtained in the district is supposed to be used as a form of business venture to assist the Assembly boost its finances to push more development projects in the area.


This was disclosed in an interaction with Ghandistricts.com by the
District Chief Executive for the area, Fuseini Alhassan to discuss
the state of development in the district.

He said the Assembly has a mandate to improve the wellbeing of inhabitants, hence the efforts by the Assembly to engineer more ways of securing resources for massive projects.

He therefore pledged the commitment of the Assembly to improve the lifestyles of residents through the provision of projects in all the sectors of the economy.
