Nakpayili/Lungni small town water system on course

Government is still committing attention to boost accessibility to potable water, especially in the northern belt of the country, as works on the Nakpayili/Lungni small town water system is progressing steadily to guarantee residents enhanced water condition.
The project which is captured under the Northern Region Small Town Water System seeks to boost the social lives of people particularly in the local communities, through the provision of boreholes and improved water systems in beneficiary communities.
The District Chief Executive for the area, Alhaji Seidu Amidu who spoke to Ghanadistricts.com on the project, said the move partly fulfils the promise made by the government to improve the lives of ordinary Ghanaians through the “Better Ghana” agenda.
With support from the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), the government is increasingly pushing forth measures to facilitate enhanced water condition and easy access to potable water in the Nanumba South district.
