As a measure to reduce decongestion in classrooms, a six unit classroom has been constructed at Foshegu Electoral Area in Tamale Metropolis to promote quality education in the country.
In an interview with Ghanadistricts.com the Assembly man for Foshegu Electoral Area, Hon. Prince Mohammed described over populated classrooms in the area as very disturbing, a situation which does not encourage learning.
He added that decongestion in classrooms has ended some pupils under trees where unpredictable weather conditions distract lessons noting that under tree schools are mostly not in session during rainy seasons.
Hon. Prince Mohammed also used the opportunity to appeal to the Assembly for more classrooms to enable children have a suitable atmosphere for learning and teaching.
