Evans Akangyelewon Atuick, a Research Fellow at the Centre for Continuing Education and Inter-Disciplinary Research (CCEIR) at the University of Development Studies who did the presentation noted that the group made the donation due the plight of the children in the orphanage home.

He declared that in like manner the group had also embarked on other charitable works which included a food bazaar for over 500 children.

The Convener and Administrator of the BMY group, Afoko Winston Churchil admonished the caretakers to explore and develop the talents in the kids.

He also implored the orphanage home to venture into income generating projects like animal farming to help them meet some of their basic needs.

“In as much as people would come to your aid, try to use your various talents to harness resources to help the orphanage and I believe other people would support your efforts” he intimated.

Abobtey Joseph, Manager of the Horizon orphanage home was grateful to the Bulubisa Meina Yeri group and promised the items for the purpose to which they were donated.

The group is aimed at bringing together natives of the Builsa area in Ghana and abroad to help develop the area.
