The District Chief Executive of Zabzugu has presented 60 computers to the Zabzugu District in the Northern Region to enhance advancement in technology in the area.
An Information Communication Technology (ICT) centre is soon to be built to support the use of these computers and serve as an information centre where people can research and access information for their own benefits and the country as a whole.
In an interview with Ghanadistricts.com the Zabzugu District Chief Executive, Abdul Wahab Umar stated that the computers would equip residents’ to be abreast with the new technology systems in the world.
Abdul Wahab Umar also disclosed that the Assembly is funding a community centre in Zabzugu District which is aimed at enabling residents discuss matters pertaining to the themselves and their community .
He added that the community centre would serve as a social hub and a place where people in the District can have their social events.
