The Bole District Assembly has installed streetlights in most of its electoral areas.

In an interview with ghanadistricts.com the District Chief Executive of the Bole District Seidu Samson Abudu stated that the development is also a measure to improve security in the area as most criminal activities are carried out under the cover of darkness.

The streetlights he noted would enable people who have genuine business to do in the night to do that without any fear of attack.
“Safety on our roads have also been taken into consideration hence major roads not been left out as a way of improving visibility of motorists at night to avoid unnecessary accidents as well as saving travelers from being robbed at night.

He confirmed that Mankuna and Maneari amongst others are the electoral areas that benefited from the project.

Seidu Abudu added that the district is doing much well with just some few challenges including access to potable water but indicated that with the construction of boreholes and dams coming up this year the challenge would be minimized.
