District Hospital gets new Children’s ward

As part of measures to improve the Health facilities in the Lawra District, the Assembly has constructed a new Children’s ward at the district hospital.

This move is as a result of the Assembly’s commitment to help deliver quality health service for inhabitants of the area, and also ensure that the Health needs of the people are secured in the area.

This was revealed in an interaction with by the District Chief Executive for the Lawra District Assembly, Abu Sampson, to discuss the developments so far in the area of Health.

He also added that the Assembly together with the Ministry of Health (MoH) has managed to put up two Polyclinics in the district to aid easy accessibility to health facilities.

The communities that benefited from these developments in the district included, Bablie and Ko all in the district.

The DCE observed that it was imperative for the Assembly to help in the extension of health facilities to all areas of the district, and therefore pledged the Assembly’s effort to boost the health system of the area.
