DCE prays for Peace in 2012 elections

The Municipal Chief Executive for the Bolgatanga Municipal Assembly, Edward Ayiriba Ayagle, has stated that it is critical to hold the upcoming 2012 general elections in an atmosphere of Peace.

He explained that there is the need to do away with unaccepted acts which could marred a free and fair elections next year. To this end, he has urged all political parties to co-operate in the interest of making the next elections worthy of emulation.

The MCE was speaking to to put out a message for Ghanaians in this year’s Christmas celebrations.

He therefore cautioned drivers to be careful on the roads to prevent any carnage which might happen during the yuletide.

He also assured the inhabitants of the area to expect more development that will improve their livelihood next year.
