As part of ways to ensure that education is fairly promoted in the various areas of the district, the Bolgatanga Municipal Assembly has replaced 10 schools under trees with dignified structure for pupils of the district.
Some of the beneficiary communities include Atampuro, Asoogoom, Moshie, Yorogo, Dazongo, and Kumbiligo amongst others.
In an interaction with Ghanadistricts.com, the Municipal Chief Executive for the Bolgatanga Municipal Assembly, Edward Ayiriba Ayagle stressed that the Assembly has secured a good number of infrastructural development across the areas of the municipality.
He added that the Assembly in conjunction with the Ministry of Education has distributed a total of 1,000 dual desks to various schools in the district.
According to him, about 6,000 furniture has been arranged to be delivered to the district for onward distribution to schools.
The MCE further pledged the Assembly’s commitment to undertake all the needed intervention to promote quality education in the municipality.
