Ya Naa Yakubu
The blood brother of the late Ya-Naa Yakubu Andani II and the secretary to the Andani Youth Association says the Andani family has not lost confidence in the NDC government to apprehend the murderer of the Late Yaa Naa Yakubu Andani II.

Mr. Andani Mahama was reacting to a press conference organized a couple of days ago by the Andani Youth Group which earlier said if the NDC fails to fulfill its promise to find the murderers of the Ya Naa they will not vote for the NDC in 2012.

But Andani Mahama who does not recognize the Andani Youth Group, tells Citi News that the Andani gate believes in due time the murderers of the Yaa Na will be brought to book.

“If we decided to go for the NDC in the 2008 elections it was because they had a campaign manifesto which seemed to have taken care of our interests to look for those who murdered the Ya-Naa. ”

"Today we are still in the tenure of the NDC government so why are they casting insinuations and trying to put pressure? We know justice will one day be done whether under the tenure of the NDC or any other government. ” He predicted.

Andani Mahama said he was speaking on behalf of the family thus no one could hold the family to ransom by dictating their wishes or concerns.

The Andani royal gate on Wednesday served notice to NDC officials to find the killers of the late overlord of Dagbon, Ya-Naa Yakubu Andani or risk losing their votes in the upcoming elections.
