The First Lady, Ernestina Naadu Mills on a visit to the Crocodile pond at Paga in the Kassena Nankana East District, has hinted that the site would soon be renovated to attract more revenue for the area.

The Paga Crocodile Pond is one of the tourist sites in the country, which play host to over 200 crocodiles in the area.

The oldest crocodile known to be ever living at the site is said to be about 60 years.

However in Paga it is an offense to kill a crocodile, hence anyone caught in such an act is jailed.

Mrs Naadu Mills visited the Region purposely to interact with the people of the area and also to appreciate nature.
