In order to create more convenience and better service for its customers in the Northern sector of the country, the Agriculture Development Bank, (ADB) on Tuesday opened a new branch in Tamale –Kaladan to add up to the two branches in the metropolis.
In a statement issued by the Managing Director of the bank Mr. Stephen Kpordzin, he said that apart from the banks commitment to develop agriculture in the three Northern regions, it was also committed to the expansion of branch networks in the regions to give customers more choices in terms of location to do business.
He said that the Kaladan branch would offer Executive Banking Services in addition to other corporate, retail and development finance service.
“The ADB Executive Banking Services is our response to the need of high network individuals for an enhanced range of products and services and the Kaladan branch is the third to offer this kind of service”, he added.
Mr. Kpordzin stated that as part of the bank’s strategic plan to be among the top bank in the country, the ADB has began operations on a new upgraded Information Technology plat form to improve the capacity for transaction processing and service delivery.
“The upgrade to this new banking plat form has also provided ADB the capability to roll out internet banking and Visa cards which will be launched very soon “he said.
Mr. Kpordzin stressed that the bank has introduced several products such as: QuickPay School Fee Payment Solutions, E-Vouchers for Online Tertiary Admission Form Sales, NLA FastPay for the payment of NLA Mobi-Game winners, and among others to ensure the convenience of their customers.
He expressed gratitude to their customers for cooperating with the bank even in terms of hardships and also urged the people of Tamale and its environs to do business with ADB’s new branch opened in Kaladan.
