Assembly moves to assist Race course demolishing victims

The Bolgatanga Municipal Assembly is already putting in place measures to accommodate and integrate the victims of the recent demolishing exercise at the race course in Kumasi.

Speaking exclusively to Ghanadistricts.com, the Municipal Chief Executive for the Bolgatanga Municipality, Edward Ayariba Ayagle disclosed that the assembly has already made available four buses to transport the victims back to their communities.


He said the assembly will later meet to deliberate other means of helping them to fully establish themselves in their various communities.

The Kumasi metropolitan Assembly is embarking on a massive demolishing exercise at the race course to enable the assembly initiate the "golden city" project which is being championed by Otumfour Osei Tutu.

the exercise has rendered several people homeless but the KMA authorities insist people were given enough time to relocate.
