Two communities, Kanshegu and Mogla in the Savelugu-Nanton District have been hooked on to the national grid.
The District Chief Executive for Savulugu-Nanton in the Northern Region, Mr. Mohammed Prince also mentioned that efforts are underway to provide about 1000 metres stretch of streetlights in the district.

In the area of health, Hon Prince Askiya noted that the District Health Directorate which has been under contraction for the past eight years has been adopted and completed while a CHIPS compound have been built at Kuldanali, clinic and nurses bungalow at Tampion.
Through the collaborative efforts of the Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, an ambulance has also been bought for the Savulugu hospital, he added.
Ten (10) communities in the Savulugu Township have also benefited from pipe bone water.
The quest to ensure food security has also not been spared as 0ver 4000 people are engaged in the block farming project, producing rice, maize and soya-beans.
