Personnel of the Ghana Police service collecting garbage into a truck after a clean-up exercise at the old Tamale hospital and around the police barracks.
It was part of their monthly exercise to complement efforts to keep the environment clean.
The officers and men, led by the Tamale Metropolitan Police Commander, Mr. Alexander Asare Adjei, desilted gutters, cleared weeds and swept the area.
Mr. Adjei advised the people to properly dispose of their refuse to avoid outbreak of epidemics.
