The Bolgatanga Municipal Chief Executive, Mr Isaac Nsoh Amoah, has appealed to parents to take advantage of the Capitation Grant and send their children to school.

He said this during the launch of the Ghana School Feeding Programme held at Zuarung-Moshie Primary School near Bolgatanga. Mr Amoah said parents should no longer use the inability to pay their school fees or feeding of their children as excuse to keep them at home.

The Upper East Regional Monitoring Officer of the Ghana School Feeding Programme, Mr Latif Solomon, urged the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), School Management Committee and all concerned agencies to show commitment and keen interest in the implementation of the school feeding programme.

He appealed to the Assemblymen and Unit Committee Members of the area to contribute to the success of the programme.
