Residents of Sang in the Mion District have appealed to the Assembly and the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) undertake maintenance work on the Saint Anthony Primary School which was affected by a recent storm.

They said the roof of the school was ripped off by rainstorm in April, 2019 and this has affected teaching and learning as well as many households in the area.

Mr Abdul-Aziz Mohammed, Member of Parliament for Mion Constituency in the Northern Region has presented items worth GHC90, 000.00 to the Mion District Directorate of Education to enhance teaching and learning in the area. It was also to facilitate administrative work of the District Directorate of Education to ensure that data of pupils were properly kept to help in the provision of more facilities for district.

Items presented included 15 desktop computers, two Apsonic motorbikes, 10,000 exercise books and quantities of supplementary reading books in the Dagbanli Language.
