The poor lyrics of current crop of musicians and their mode of dressing which has become a matter of discussion and concern to the public represent the true character of such artistes according to veteran musician Mohammed Sheriff Yamusah popularly known as Doobia Sheriff

In an exclusive interview with mynewsgh.com, the winner of Reggae Song of the Year at the 2005 Ghana Music Awards disclosed that music is a tool one uses to express what is in him/ her and if the lyrics are not of quality then it simply means what the person has in him is also poor.

Northern Region’s biggest artiste, Fancy Gadam has disclosed plans to feature Shatta Wale on a song.

According to him, the song will tell the world that their fanbase loves them and that they do not use ‘black magic’ known in the local parlance as “juju”.

“My management is in talks with his management and when things are done we will send him the song. The beat is ready and I’ve done something on it already. The title of the song is juju.”

Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Discovery of the year 2017, Mujahid Ahmed Bello, known by his stage name Fancy Gadam has revealed the secret behind his break through.

He attributes it to collaborations with very popular artistes.

The Northern Region’s biggest artiste said due to the challenges artistes from the Northern sector of Ghana encounter, his management thought it would be best to get an A-List artiste from the southern part of the country to feature him on his songs to grant him the access into the southern space.
